One founder.
One inbox.
You will be talking to the person who writes the code. That is the entire org chart, and it is on purpose.
I'm Mike. I build operational software for the kinds of organizations that don't get the good stuff — small cities, county agencies, humane societies, the people running animal services from a spreadsheet and a shared inbox. MKN Web Solutions, LLC is the company; AnimalShelterIQ is the product I'm putting in front of you.
The thesis is simple. The shelter management category froze in the mid-2000s. The tools are slow, the AI is a chat widget grafted onto a Windows app, and licensing — the thing that actually pays for animal services in most municipalities — is treated as an add-on instead of the core. AnimalShelterIQ rebuilds the category from scratch with intelligence woven through every workflow: license outreach, lost-and-found photo matching, adoption matching, field call triage, predictive health, voice-narrated bite reports.
I don't have a sales team. I don't have a support queue. If you email me, I read it. If you sign on as a customer, I will sit on a Zoom with your director and your IT lead and your field officers and figure out what actually works. That is the deal. It is the only deal I am interested in offering.
— If you're a director or a county manager evaluating shelter software, I'd like to hear from you. Even if we are not the right fit, I will be honest about it and point you somewhere good.
Talk to the builder
Every customer call, every procurement question, every bug report — comes to me. No tier-2.

Small surface area, fast iteration. New features land in days, not quarters.
Be honest about fit
If we're not right for you, we'll say so. We're focused on small-to-mid municipalities and mid-sized humane societies.
Let's talk.
Send me the rough shape of your operation. I'll come back with whether we fit, what an implementation looks like, and an honest read on timeline.
